Not so grumpy old man!

Having just celebrated my 42nd birthday , it has been a time for reflection. I have received a few comments about this blog that I am in danger of becoming a grumpy old man. Not so, my life has greatly improved over the past few months after a nightmare year in business and financial dire straits. I am physically in the best shape of my life, have re-focussed on my goals, recently started a new job, have 2 great children, a great partner and a few valued friends.

The point of this blog is to provide a conduit for opinions and share my thoughts with like minded individuals as well as provoking debate. It's not all negative either, I just genuinely believe it is increasingly important for real people's opinions to be voiced and eventually taken into account by others. It is not arrogant to believe that my opinion counts, I am not saying that it is more or less valuable than someone else's, but I am totally over being told by the media and politicians what my opinions are, or what they should be.

Dirty Harry said "Opinions are like arseholes and everybody has one" I firmly believe that.
